Summer Schools/Seminars/Conferences

At the summer schools U3A members are able to follow a course of study from a wide-ranging choice of subjects, led by volunteer U3A tutors. Some links below require a member log in.

The 2019 LONDON REGION SUMMER SCHOOL will be from 23 to 25 July and will take place at St Bride Foundation, Bride Lane, Fleet Street, London EC4Y 8EQ (Easy access: 5 minutes from Blackfriars underground station). This is a three-day non-residential event. Members can choose to attend for one, two or three days. Cost per day £38 including lunch.

Choose from 28 different talks, 4 workshops, and 6 guided walks around the City of London.
There is a wide range of topics taken from the themes of Art,  Current Affairs, History, Literature, Music, Science and Travel.  This year we have also selected ‘Celebration of the Sea’ as a general theme.
